Paua shell is the most special shell in the world. Found only in New Zealand.

Colour that varies from greens & pinks to purples & blues, and even some shells with

golds & crimsons. Colour that changes when viewed from different angles. It is this iridescence ,

similar to that of Mother of Pearl shell , but far more brilliant, that makes paua shell such a amazing

gem material to work with. It is truly one of natures marvels. Each shell is different in its colour toning, which makes each piece of our jewellery unique.

with the iridescent moving colour of this unique taonga.

Inspiration comes from the Bush, the Sea and the Land forms of NZ,

melded with our unique cultural heritage.
